The system can accommodate up to 20 pallets with either loose or placed workpieces. The integrated robotics system feeds these to the laser processing: accurately with the help of high-resolution camera systems and optical parts recognition from ACSYS. One example of this is the gripper system of the integrated ACSYS robotics. It is suitable for handling solid workpieces as well as soft components or those with sensitive surfaces \u2013 such as those made of highly polished stainless steel. The system&#8217;s gripper fingers are made of a special plastic material for this purpose. Their gripping force is individually adjusted between 5 and 20 newtons \u2013 software-controlled and material-dependent. Workpiece handling is permanently monitored by the intelligent control system. Parts that deviate in geometry or are not correctly recorded are recognized immediately.
